198 things to do coming up

The year in events

• Winter: ski season at Diamond Peak and Mt Rose.
• Summer: concerts and the Shakespeare festival at Sand Harbor.
• All year: the library, UNR at Lake Tahoe and the IVGID board meetings.

Farmers market

The Incline Village Farmers Market runs in summer at Diamond Peak Ski Resort. It is open on Thursdays from 3 to 6 PM. In 2026 it ran from May 21 to Sept 3. Lake Tahoe Markets runs it.

After the season ends, the nearest market is in Tahoe City. It runs on Thursday mornings. Dates change each year, so check before you drive.

Free things to do

The Incline Village Library runs the most free events in town. Story time for little kids runs most weeks. There are also classes, craft nights and visiting shows.

What we list

A listing needs a real date, a real time and a real place. We drop repeats. An event that has passed leaves the list the same day.

Plan around conditions

Check the weather page for smoke and wind. In winter, check Mt Rose Highway and the snow report before you go. The IVGID board meets about twice a month. See what it decided.
