Beaches and your stay
Three beaches are for IVGID pass holders and their guests. A guest ticket costs $18 for an adult and $10 for ages 6 to 17. Some rentals include passes, and the Hyatt has its own beach. Getting around
Most lodging sits along Lakeshore Blvd and Tahoe Blvd. The TART bus runs along SR 28. In winter, check Mt Rose Highway before you drive from Reno.

Yes for the lake, the trails and the skiing. Book early for summer weekends and check which beaches your stay includes.
Can hotel guests use Incline Village beaches?
It depends on the stay. Some rentals include IVGID beach passes, and the Hyatt has its own beach. Ask your host or hotel before you book. Sand Harbor and the walk-in beaches are open to everyone.
When is the best time to stay in Incline Village?
July for swimming, with the lake near 65°F on average and few smoke days. February through April for skiing, when Mt Rose snow runs 75 to 101 inches.
Is August a risky month for smoke?
It has been the worst month. Since 2019 the nearest monitor logged 28 smoke days in August and 20 in September, mostly in 2020 and 2021.
Where do you stay to be near the ski hill?
Ski Way and the streets near it, close to Diamond Peak. Several rentals sit there. Mt Rose is a 25 minute drive in dry weather.
