The rules we use
Summer means May 15 to September 30. A busy day is Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday in WM's list. A warm busy day has a high of at least 70°F and rain below 60%. In summer, that gets Likely full early.
Other busy summer days get May fill. So do summer days at 75°F or warmer. Other summer days get Less busy. Outside summer, warm busy days get May fill. Other days get Unlikely to fill. Missing or late data gives No call. A live closure gives Closed for today.
Summer tips
Our Sand Harbor guide says to come before 9 AM or after 4 PM on summer weekends. Book car entry from 8 to 10:30 AM, May 15 to September 30. The East Shore Express is a summer shuttle. Check its dates before you go.
