Now open: new businesses in Incline Village

78 new business license applications were filed with the county for Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada so far in 2026, and 44 are issued. All of 2025 had 70. Glasses Wine Bar reopened under new owners on Feb 4, 2026. In fall 2025, Paxton's Settlement took over the old Austin's space and BAR LA LOCA opened on Tahoe Blvd. Not new, but often asked about: Rosewood Tahoe has been open since March 2023. A place joins our live list only after a county license and a public listing both show it open.

What opened in the last few years

  • Feb 4, 2026: Glasses Wine Bar, at 760 Mays Blvd, Suite 8, reopened under new owners. The old owners retired and closed it on Sept 27, 2025. The new owners renovated and added to the wine and food list.
  • Fall 2025: Paxton's Settlement, at 120 Country Club Dr, took over the old Austin's space. The Tahoe Daily Tribune wrote on Mar 24, 2026 that the new owners took over about five months earlier. They changed the name, the staff and the menu.
  • Fall 2025: BAR LA LOCA, at 907 Tahoe Blvd in the space where Frederick's used to be. A community update in June 2024 still listed it as under construction. By Oct 3, 2025 a local blog called it one of the newest places in town. We found no news story with an exact day.
  • 2026: The Grille at The Chateau, on the championship golf course, added Sunday brunch from 11 AM to 2 PM.
  • March 2023: Rosewood Tahoe, in the Raley's shopping center on Tahoe Blvd. SFGATE reported the date in April 2025.

These dates come from the sources named in "How we know". They are not from our license check. We add a place to the live list only when both checks pass.

What is coming

  • The Waldorf Astoria project asked Washoe County for more time on its approvals. The Planning Commission hearing is tentative for Nov 4, 2026.
  • The Snowflake Lodge at Diamond Peak is in design. It is a ski lodge, not a new business. See Town Hall in 5 minutes.

How a place gets on the live list

  1. The county gives a business a license. We read the county site each day.
  2. A public listing shows the place open in town.
  3. Our daily check finds it open. Then it gets a short brief and a page.

Why licenses and openings differ

The license count is every new license application filed this year with a town address. The county record number carries the year it was filed. Some are home businesses with no shop. The confirmed openings are the ones we checked ourselves.
